Mustafa Mukadam is a researcher in Robotics and AI, working at Amazon Robotics on robot manipulation problems at scale. Previously, he was at FAIR (Meta) where he led the robot manipulation team. Prior to that, he received a Ph.D. in Robotics from Georgia Tech where he was part of the Robot Learning Lab. His research spans touch and dexterity methods like Sparsh, NeuralFeels, DexterityGen, robot perception methods like iSDF, motion planning methods like GPMP2, CLAMP, and libraries like Theseus. His works have been covered by media outlets like TechCrunch, VentureBeat and The Verge, and his work on motion planning has received the 2018 IJRR paper of the year award.
