Mustafa Mukadam is a Research Scientist at FAIR (Meta) where he leads the manipulation and tactile sensing team. Prior to joining FAIR, he received a Ph.D. in Robotics from Georgia Tech where he was part of the Robot Learning Lab. His research has spanned robot planning methods like GPMP, robot perception methods like iSDF and NeuralFeels, and libraries like Theseus. His works have been covered by media outlets like GeekWire, VentureBeat, and TechCrunch, and his work on motion planning has received the 2018 IJRR paper of the year award.
